Was looking at the DJM 2/3" lowering kit but after seeing pictures of it, it seemed like it would make the truck unlevel. So I figured I would just cut my front springs and try to get down 2.5" in front and just buy the 3" flip kit for the rear.. any advice?

The amount of intelligence used when one decides to cut springs is roughly on par with that used when deciding to stick a lit blow torch up your own ass. If you want to lower do it right.

The truck already sits off level, it has some rake to it from factory. The kit you were looking at is supposed to drop and level the truck, but it looks like you already have a negative rake for some reason.

On an otherwise stock truck, the 2/3 kit usually levels it out nicely. The weight of the truck does have some effect, so an extended cab truck with a v6 might see more drop than a regular cab with the lightweight Duratec 4 cylinder.

The truck will also settle slightly over the first few miles too. I'm guessing the truck in that picture has a Duratec engine, which is contributing to the reverse rake. It could also be that the coil springs aren't fully seated in the control arm, or the truck hasn't fully settled yet.
