Ranger limited dualplug turbo build

Small update ordered some parts and did a lil diy head machining. lightly stoned intake exhaust and head. Also chased intake and exhaust threads with a tap. It's going to the machine shop for valve work but I like to take a cleanish head... The guys seemed to appreciate it last head I took and cut me a break on price so an hours work saves me a Benjamin so be it!!

Had some time in between putting a 4:10 posi in my mustang and cutting my daughter's grass this weekend to do an e-fan clutch fan delete. I bought 4 of these ebay fans from a garage sale NIB for 10. I used a 4 prong relay that is a ground source for the fans with key on power. The power comes directly from the battery to the fans with 40amp inline fuse. When I removed the clutch fan I installed spacers on the bolts so they wouldn't contact water pump. I have eyes on a pimpx new for a good price from some guy around here so wish me luck he doesn't sell before Saturday! Also some other guy has boport 1.5 cam, shims, double springs and wide groove hlas that I may be picking up as well.. glad the demand for these engine/parts are dropping so I can get all the things on my wishlist for a decent price!

Curious to see how you do with the PimpX. I'm taking the same route this winter when I install my AFR heads and Cobra intake, etc. Except mine is the XS version. Keep us posted.

Installed wide band gauge in dash. have some sheet alum. I will make a filler panel for a cleaner install. Used an old 02 sensor to make a harness to attach WB controller to the factory harness as per pimpx installation guide. Ordered 2 o2 bungs, and need some more mig wire to install sensor in exhaust. The WB controller I'm using has an output for narrowband that I will attempt to use with factory ecu before installing pimpx. I should only have to move 1 ecu connector pin for the second coil pack and add 1 pin for e.fan control and the ecu should only need to 2 jumpers installed for those pins!!!

North Carolina... Need e6 manifold mainly. But lemme know what you got!

Few suspension "mods".. front of leafs I put a spring clamp, the rear I put helper springs since the fronts solid now. And a home made frame support in between the rear spring hangers. Also put on a factory front 3/4 sway bar. Took a test drive on my test road(curvy back road) and it feels awesome

If you decide you want a complete DJM dream beam and tubular radius arm setup (disc brakes included) PM me.

I'm in the process of putting AJE k member setup in mine after the LS wasn't going have turbo room.

There's always room.

Right. I'm putting my turbo system in the front, radiator in the back with the cell. I have a first gen- things aren't quite as simple as the later model Rangers.

...and losing about 65 pounds off the nose in the process.

Needs a little polish but not to shabby!
