INFO Ranger junkyards

Does anyone know of any good ford ranger salvage yards with in a 2 hr drive of bowling green ky I’m needs parts of the harness that goes from the main harness to the transmission and various other places and can’t seem to find anything online for what I’m needing

Here's some. I plugged in a search for a common part, a front fender. These yards do not put every little part in the database. But if they have a popular part like a fender, they most likely have the rest of the truck there and you can get some other parts off of it.

Then you might be able to narrow the results by going to the above site (www.car-part.com) and looking for a transmisson for your truck that is the same type. If they have the transmission on the shelf, there is a chance the rest of the truck may still be in the yard.

I wish you luck. Those harnesses are extremely year specific. There is a yard local to me that would be within your search radius.

They usually have about 8 Rangers on the back lot. Nothing out there is cataloged but your welcome to look yourself.

I don’t have photos of the connectors but I can definitely describe what I’m needing lol it plugs into this both of them and goes various places under the hood they are located near the washer fluid reservoir on the driver wheel tub one of the wires runs down the the neutral safety switch on the 89 a4ld auto transmission and plugs into a 4pin plug photo of that 4 pin connector is also included

It should plug into the 6pin and the 4pin on the other end and go god knows where

Will this work?

It's on a 92 with 4.0 and A4LD.
You'll need a scissor jack I think to get to the connector on the transmission. Or a really thin arm to reach between the body and transmission.
The other wires are pulled loose already. One goes the oil level switch (that connector is broken) and the other to the oil pressure switch. The remainder goes straight to the transmission.

It's at Quall's. I would've gotten it for you, but was ill equipped to reach that final connector. The truck is laying on axles, no wheels. I didn't think to see if it could be reached through the shifter plate hole in the floorboard.

It will be Monday but I’ll swing down there and take a look and try to get it thank you for going and looking
