ranger ignition problem

i have a 92ranger 98 4.0 in it whoever did swap left 2.9 wiring harness in it also left same computer im not getting spark ive changed the crank position sensor the coil, tried a few different computers still no spark the cam sensor is in the back of engin not hooked up but i see no wire to plug into it and it was running. also is it possible for it to be running without the cam sensor plugged in?

The truck wouldn't fire at all because somone moved the ignition fuse over one slot when they were trying to see why it would crank and run but barely while backfiring and stuff that winded up being the ignition module
