Ranger from Louisiana

Hey everyone! I just bought my ranger a week ago. It’s a 97 xlt 2wd v6 3.0 with a couple hundred miles under 200k. I got it from a family friend and after driving it for a couple days I got to see just how neglected it had gotten. So far I’ve changed the alternator, power steering pump, the water pump and the spark plugs and wires. I flushed the radiator and changed the oil and transmission fluid. Took me two whole days but I got her running like a champ now.

I’m looking forward to talking with everyone and will post some of the before and after picks of the body and interior stuff I do to her.
