Rangebe...version 2.0

lol that the route your going? and where the hell has been the progress on your rig???????

Nice! The Terminator pump will be awesome.I've been thinking about the Swamps Gen3 pump for mine, that will be able to run the 175/30% injectors with no issues. :D

Got my tube...started on the interior cage. Im trying to keep it as close as I can to the cab, I need all the space I can get. Figuring out these bends in multiple planes is significantly trickier than the back half.

Cage will tie into outriggers Ill make coming off of the frame. Also going to be keeping the stock dash. May get some more done this weekend.

Looks good man! I know nothing on good hpop's but I'm all about the diesel fired coolant heaters haha, my cummins will get one for sure.

Thanks man, stop by and check it out with snoop sometime if you want. Theyre just regular old spruce 2x4's cut and screwed together, works great.

Yeah we'll have to set that up for sometime soon. I gotta make a set of those cribs for myself in order to swap the rear axle in my '93. It's good to see that they work as well as I imagined. Although, touring the Cory potash mine and seeing essentially the same thing holding up the...earth... I assumed they could hold a truck.

Had a bit of time to tinker.

Cut off old body mounts.

Made new mounts.

Final fitment of A pillar of cage.

Goes through the body, into rear cage.

And then it passes through the floor, and into new mount. I also welded in a new tube in place of the original body mount. Cab is hard mounted to the frame, and connected to the cage.

Thats all, need to do the same for the other side, then get started on cross braces and dash bar. Ive got finals coming in a month however, and I just picked up a Ski-Doo to toy with so it may take a while.

Oh, and pulled a school bus out of the ditch with the Super Duty :D

IMG-20121102-00318.jpg

Driving home, I notice this thing SIDEWAYS across the road, with the front tires hanging in the ditch, and bus hung up. We got 7 " of snow the night previous, and the roads were slippery as $hit. Hooked onto the rear frame, and pulled the sum b!itch out without a single hiccup :D Snapped that pic quickly after dragging it back straight.

Peace.

HOLYSNOW! Doooood.

Loving the tube work though!

haha thanks boys. yep its gonna ride like $hit, but I dont care, its not being built for luxury. Been busy getting this thing ready for a tear :D

Thing is stupid fast for how sketchy the 30 year old chassis is.

Probably ride as bad as the Sooper Dooty :D

lol I doubt it, that thing rides worse than any dump truck Ive ever been in :D

Dont count on it. I have Bilstein 5150 piggy back reservoirs (very nice shocks) on my duty, and while it did help, my kiidneys still hurt.

O goody. I didn't go quite that expensive, but I guess we will see. It still has the factory shocks on it. They are 8 years old and have 110k on them.
