Rangebe...version 2.0

I had the factory shocks on my 02, and it wasn't lifted or anything, but it rode great. A little bouncy, but D was WAAAAAAAAY worse.

The new shocks on the Super Duty have improved the ride on large bumps, however now I feel what seems like every little crack in the damn road. I still love that truck though. Maybe one day, a 6" airbag lift will be in the cards so it rides like a Caddy. In the meantime, I'll deal with the harsh ride and just worry about fixing the rust before it gets out of control. My bed is already half rotted.

Right on man, yea those trucks just werent built with ride quality in mind, however I could care less.

Sorry Ive been lacking on the build guys....have my last final for the semester tomorrow, then Ill be out sledding quite a bit. THEN Ill give the Rangebe some love. Should have an engine rebuild kit by Christmas too..

Light bar will be on a set of bushing pivots, and will be able to be folded down/up by using this electric servo, controlled from inside the cab.

Have also just about finished collecting all the parts I need for the engine;

Meziere electric water pump; this coupled with my Fluidyne aluminum radiator and Flexalite dual electric fans, I should have no troubles cooling.

The engine is having the cam bearings put in it right now as I didnt have the tool, Ill get it back and assemble it next weekend hopefully. Once thats done, I need to finish the cage, and start wiring.

Think you missed the part where I said it will be controlled an electric servo, and be able to be folded down from inside the cab :P

yep, I want to be able to fold it down level with the roof line for when Im breaking trails. May get ambitious and mount/fabricate the hinges and mechanism tonight.
