Ram Classic

P 51 Mustang
There was also a Dodge Explorer in the 50s
The 396 and 454, also the Dodge 383 and 440 were the strongest engines I recall
Actually I never run across many fords back then, cept a 64 Galaxy 500 they'd put a 351W in it, and it started blowing smoke before I got out of town :/
Then a couple years later I got my E300 w/ a 300/6, maybe the best one I ever had, far as time I had it went

I have a 2018 half ton at work. Nice truck, has a ton of power, really comfortable. I am getting about 15-16mpg. Has the 5.7 engine. Only real complaints - gas tank isn't vented correctly and it sprays fuel out when the pump clicks off. Dealer & local repair shop couldn't figure it out and said it's really common, they suggested a $2200 new fuel tank that "might" fix it. Should be a recall.

Canister/filter and purge valve. Common for trucks that see a lot of gravel. Spraying gas is a new one on me though.

Also the key and shifter drive me nuts... if you start the engine and let go of key, it'll snap back to Off and shut the truck off. That also causes hard starts... floods it or something. You have to carefully move it back to Run. Very annoying. If the key isn't in exactly the right position, it can't be removed in Park either... there is a very specific order of events to shut the truck off and remove the key.

Sounds like a WIN module, basically the ignition switch.

Mine doesn’t do that, but it does require the driver door be shut to be in gear. If the door opens while in gear it will shift into park for you. It’s annoying when trying to connect to a trailer. I haven’t tested it but I hope it doesn’t do it at speed.
My jeep just beeps at you like crazy.

The wifes fusion will hit park if you open the door while moving under like 3mph. It will also automatically hit park if you shut it off in drive

Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth whatever has always known how to build engines. The 318/360/440/8.0L were all much stronger then the 302/351/460 or 305/350/454's.

Yes i know i omitted some engines but im not gonna sit here and make a list of every V8 ever produced by the big 3
