railmans build thread....

I love how tight that cage is on that Ranger.

Cool pics! I bet it's steeper than it looks.

Richard

for a really good idea of how steep it is....goto YouTube and search for Wishbone Ranch....look for Bobby Tanner on Commitment Hill....and you will know:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

he gave it a good try, but only had the front end clear the "roots"...could never get the rear over...

so, he went up the next hill over....

Well I hate that I hate to miss this weekend, still too much going on with the house, but the good thing is it gives me time to get all the bugs out of Ex. Can't wait to wheel Harlan with ya brother.

Can't wait to get back on the trails either man. Looks like one hell of a great time.

John, how did Daniels jeep do? Short of a touchy pedal, curious to know how the v8 swap I did work out for it. I heard it did ok, but I wasn't there...

SVT

it did really well:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

as mentioned, the touchy gas pedal and a "knub" on the tranny shifter linkage was rubbing the front driveshaft...the "knub" doesn't seem to be used for anything so a quick swipe with a grinder should take care of that...

may be a few other things, but those are the only 2 that were discussed there...
