Hello I'm rebuilding my 1995 Dana 35. I'm currently trying to pull the third member out and found out I have to pull the driver side radius arm out. I have the knuckles pulled and the shafts out. My questions are it's supported with stands on the frame can I put a jack under the driver side ttb to hold pressure the undo the shock to release pressure off the spring to pull it out . Also any other pointers for pulling an arm

That's how I pulled mine. Truck supported on jack stands. Put hydraulic jack under radius arm, supporting it. Removed nut from top of shock. Eased everything down with the jack.

It took a good impact to break loose the bolt on the bottom of the radius arm/axle beam connection.

I did the same here as well when I was replacing all the bushings back in January.

You have to remove the radius arm to get the carrier out? That pinch bolt won't clear stock radius arms, will it? That's a good case for getting a lift kit.

Didn't have to pull the knuckles to get the shafts out. Just the spindles. But while you have the carrier housing out, you can make life easier in the future by taking off that little e-clip that retains the right-side shaft and using a spring. Check out the picture near the end of this article.

You may be able to get that bolt out by grinding one side of the head flat so it is "D" shaped, allowing it to be wiggled out (or in) past the radius arm.
