Rack and pinion bushings

Anybody know where I can get some poly bushings for the rack and pinion for a 99 ranger?

Where have you looked? RockAuto? LMC truck? Summit?

None of those places seem to have them or maybe I'm a bad searcher.

For some reason I don’t think they have bushings. Pretty sure they are solid mount. They have inner and outer tie rods with bellows over the inners. Think the steering shaft just has a U-joint.

Interesting. That does appear to be a bushing… I’m gonna have to do some digging…

I had mine apart not all that long ago and I didn’t remember bushings on mine so either mine doesn’t have them or they looked good enough I didn’t see a reason to replace them. I don’t remember searching and not being able to find them, but my memory isn’t what it used to be either

I replaced mine not that long ago and apparently the bushings that came with the new one aren't holding up.

Ya they have the suspension ones but not the rack and pinion ones.

I worked with a guy that had to make then for his Explorer. There was something he could buy that was close enough to trim them down and force em in.
