Interesting, the port at the rear of the RABS on my 94 Ranger is 11-1 mm or 7/16-24.
It had a adapter to get it to 3/8-24 for common 3/16 line.
I'm a machinist so I checked the pitch and size of the thread on the adapter.
I vaguely remember my father putting that reducer in there the first time we changed that line.
Is this common? Can I pick up another adapter at a LPS?

Why not just use the correct 7/16" fitting? On my 1997 RABS, the front-facing input fitting is 7/16"-24 & the rear-facing output fitting is 3/8"-24. Both fittings use a normal SAE inverted flare (45 deg). Do you have enough slack to reflare the existing end?

All done. It was rotted behind the gas tank.
I used a straight 7/16 -24 fitting to the 3/8-24.

My 94 has a 7/16-24 as the rear port on the RABS.
Go figure.

Maybe somebody factory installed it wrong or that's the way it's suppose to be on a 94.
This is the second time I've changed the frame to rear line.
The first time my father worked on it while I did the shackles after removing the gas tank.
We never removed the RABS so I don't think it got turned around.
