my B2 is pulling to the right, but not all the time, and it seems like the higher the engine RPM the more it pulls, when i coast it doesn't pull as much or at all, somtimes it doesn't pull regardless.

the ball joints were inspected and are good, the alignment is dead on, the tires are brand new. (as in literally)

sometimes it's so bad that if i let go of the wheel for even a moment it tries to put me on the shoulder.

this said, somebody suggested that it might be the power steering malfunctioning.

help?

leaf spring bushings or hangers .

would that also make the back end "snap" after swerving around a stopped car?

like, violently jerk into place.

Move the front tires to the back or switch them side to side and see what happens. Radial tire pull is common if the tires were built improperly and many are.

You can also jack up the front end, then crank the truck and see if the wheel jerks to the right. If it doesn't, it is likely not the steering system. It is probably tire related (more common).

it did the exact same thing with the old tires too.

I have never had that problem. Alignment issues Have that checked and make sure one of the brakes are not hanging up as well.

Do you have manual hubs or auto? Im thinkin you have manual and one is locked in the other isnt, the other think could be a stuck brake caliper.

hadn't thought of that, will check it.

Sometimes my auto hubs do that. If it is the hubs, you might hear a whirring sound as well.

grab the top of the wheels and push and pull hard if it wiggles or you can feel clunking could be a wheel bering lift the front end off the ground and spin the wheels with the hubs unlocked pry under the tire while looking at the ball joints for movement and when were the brake done last give everything a good visual see if you can wiggle the front u-joints. You can also take it to a frame and axle shop for a safety check. It had to have been curbed or hit a pothole real hard to throw it out that hard or the front end has not been greased properly has worn out of alignment I`m guessing ball joints but rear leaf bushings can throw it out of align too and make a clunking noise look and see if the pins look like they are not center of the bushings lifting it up by the frame to where the wheels are just touching the ground will allow you to pry on them you should get no movement. If you get creative you can easily press the bushings out and back in also check the U clamps on the axle for tite

the shop that checked the alignment said they checked the ball joints and wheel bearings prior to doing the alignment, and everything looked good.

they even complimented the job i did on my radius arm bushings, since i didn't screw up the alignment at all when i did it.

If the tires spin free and the brakes and alignment are all good and your rear leafs and shakles are tite did you check the differentials for proper operation.

I would suspect a front hub or something with the rear suspension if the front has checked out.

My F-150 had auto front hubs when I got it (one was broken, of course, and I only found out when I needed 4x4). I found that when I'd kick it into 4x4 (sometimes if I needed to creep along slowly I'd stick it in 4-lo and still do), that when I'd put it back into 2wd to go down the road, it would have a wicked pull to the left. After a bit of driving the hub would unlock or whatever and it would stop pulling so bad, but it was a problem that kept getting worse. I also found that backing up in a straight line did not usually release the hub like it should.

I now have Warn manuals that I got for $50 so I don't have any more problems, lol.

Oh, yea, if none of those resolve it....

Try tightening the loose nut behind the steering wheel. :icon_rofl:

i checked the hubs, they are manuals, and unlocked. i reached behind each wheel and spun the individual diveshafts by hand.
