Getting quotes on having my seats re-upholstered in black leather and having a nice sliding sun roof put in. I'll probably get a quote for a pop-up while I'm at it. If it's significantly cheaper I'll put it in instead.

Only reason why I'm having a shop do it instead of doing it myself is they give a lifetime guarantee on all of their roofs and roof work. Basically if it leaks, breaks, or just plain stops working then I get it fixed or replaced for free. Much better than me being screwed because I did a shotty job.

Actually now that I think about it.. hot in the summer and cold in the winter doesn't really seem all that worth it. Maybe I'll look into having them professionally dyed instead.

From what I've read, they're not that hard to put in. It's all about how steady your hand is, and how ready you are to cut into your roof. Me personally, I know I would screw it up if I did it myself.

Having the pop up in the Ranger is the main reason why I want a sun roof in this truck. I'm trying to give it at least half the qualities that the Ranger had since it's my new daily driver.

Got the windshield replaced today, $240 was the cheapest around here oddly enough. I was hoping for more the 160-200 range.

I also picked up some door pins to fix up my floppy door, and looked up my axles and I have 3.42 gearing in them. lol. Dang chevys!

get one from jc whitney and do it yourself. use lots of silicone and you will be fine.

also. if you here wind noise coming in, (chevys are notorious for this) roll your window down. grab a dollar bill. and slip it in behind the top door frame. now reach in and grab the bottom of the dollar. and grab the top of it. and slide it up and down behind the door frame. if it slides at all. open the door. put your knee into the bottom of the door. and pull on the upper door frame. recheck the dollar bill on move on. do this untill you cant slide the bill in the frame.

this will get rid of the noise. i had to do this twice to my blazer when i had it.

Actually, I kind of miss that about my Ranger. Kept me awake on those long trips.
