They are both from a 2004 F350, got em off ebay for less than $75 to my door...I got a lot of little stuff done today, uploading the pics after supper...

Ok, more updates, more progress :yahoo: I got the hydro boost modded and installed, looks like it came with one. The actuator rod was about 2 inches too long, so I cut out about 1.5 inches...I wanted to give me a little more pedal travel for if I ever needed more brakes I have more travel to get it. I lifted the pedal about 1 to 2 inches further to the steering wheel than in the factory position. The high pressure sensor was easy, just swapped sensors (same thread pitch) The low level sensor was different. Both are a 3 wire plug, but the plugs are different style and the pins are different as well. 2 of the three wires had the same color, so it was just a matter of cut and splice. I also had to move the distribution box, starter solenoid, and a few wires that added from accessories, AC line, and other stuff to make way for the engine cage that I started fabbing at the end of the day...I got the passsenger coil bucket off, removed the engine crossmember that was about to fall out. I am thinking of installing 2x4 tubing to protect the oil pan, but may use 8" 1/4 plate instead to maximize clearance with the 60. Speaking of 60, I noticed today I didn't make a tracbar mount on the axle, which I will need to do once everything else is done. Also measured for link bar length, I can't run the 56" long bars I wanted to just yet, need to finish the doubler first (which I made some connections today to get it moving forward again soon), so I will have to settle for 44" long bars for now. Once I get the doubler in, the link bars might be up for sale, will have to wait and see. Started fabbing the engine cage on the driver side, then I turned to getting the passenger side area clear for the cage and stopped there for today. Also found a factory ground wire I missed when I did the V8 swap, but I've added several heavy duty grounds, so I doubt I will see any effect....Here are today's pics...

This is how much the crossmember was already split....

Once I fab the engine cage, I'm thinking I might attach the distribution box to it. Looking like I may have to relocate my battery to the bed, which if I do, I'll do my dual battery setup at the same time. I might have to relocate my windshield washer fluid container/radiator overflow tank as well...We'll see how that works out...

i had to relocate all that for mine. I have a pic in my thread, if you want, I can try and find it

That would be great...I've been searching through a few build threads who had engine cages to see what they have done, but I haven't been able to find any within my year (95+) except one, and he removed his heater box altogether....Not an option if I want to keep my AC, and I'm keeping my AC!! Just need to get a little creative, thats all. When you find it, post it up, thanks Josh :icon_thumby:

welcome buddy, but mine is a 94.... I dunno what all is the same, but I'll post them for you.

There is the passenger side. We just built a bracket on the front to hold a cone filter and used one of those form it yourself intake tubes.

There is the driverside. Just made a bracket to hold the fuse box

Mine has a little less room due to the 5.0L with AC, that and the 95+ trucks have more engine bay clutter (my rad recovery tank and winshield washer tank alone take up almost the entire passenger side)...I got the driver side cage built today, but I don't like it, so I will probably redo it tomorrow, ended up cutting out half the battery box, re-routing most of my driver side fender wiring (more than half of it is accessories), got the g/f involved and had her cleanign and painting the knuckles, caliper brackets and calipers...Also cleaned and painted the original coil buckets since they were in good shape, just in case someone needs em...Pics to come tonight :icon_thumby:

I had to remove the inner fenders completely, move the distrobution box about 2" forward and turn it sideways, remove the battery tray completely, remove the smog equipment on the passenger side, remove the airbox, move the overflow tanks back to where you see them now, and build the bracket for the intake behind the headlight. We had to move the battery to the back of the truck, along with reroute the brake lines and wiring harness.

If your overflow tanks are too big, switch them out for the ones i have. I don't think i have any shot of before the cage, but just look at any other 93-94 4.0. Its packed in there pretty tight

Yeah, I do like the 93-94 recovery tank/washer tank as they hug the fender...Here's some pics...

Sometimes it takes a couple of wrenches to get the job done....

driver side rail is the same. Move the Distrobution block up to the front like i did.

I don't have that much slack in the harness. Where its at it has enough room, plus when I'm done with the cage I plan to make a bracket to hold the box...I also noticed just how much the framerail flexes without the engine crossmember (I was flexing it with my hand using just the cage arm :icon_surprised:) so I will add that 2x4 tubing I was thinking of adding for a brace...

That must be where all my missing tools end up.

Well, been having a lot go around around the house, and along with my computer crashing, I lost most of my pics...Anyways I finally got my computer up and running (been using my sister's the last 3 days), I got a little done yesterday, mainly did some tire swapping. I dismounted my 33's from the ranger rims I had (ended up cracking one of them, so looks like I got some scrap aluminum) and mounted them onto my 15 x 10 8 lug rims...These rims only have 2.75" backspacing, so for now I'm only putting them on the front. FordZilla has some 33's on him, but are 16.5 rims, but they are 8 wide and around 5 inches backpacing, so those are going on the back. The 10 wide rims put the entire rim and tire outside the fender, while the 8's are about 50/50...Im uploading pics now, but it'll take me a while since I'm downloading my entire pics collection from my camera since I lost them all, I kept about 75% of them on my SD card though, and that's 665 pics :icon_surprised: Pics in a couple hrs :icon_thumby: I didn't like the way the shock hoops came out, so I have another idea for them that will work 400% better, but the downside to that is I have to wait til the end of the week to get them done....But you will have to wait and see, I'm not gonna tell you whats in my head!!
