Project SVT

Anybody have an F-cam and a tuner I could borrow?? Lets see, I raced two camaros, a Chevy fullsize, an extreme S10 and a mustang....Beat all but the stang but I did stay with him til the next light...I couldn't stop :D the whole time and I'm still :D and :D and :yahoo: So far I ran about half a tank through, and I'm loving every second of it!! I highly recommend a V8 swap to anyone with a ranger!! I'm thinking of extra boltons to give me some more power...maybe I need to concentrate on getting a low range Tcase first....Hmmm
SVT
I wouldn't consider the stimulus supported gov't sponsored vehicles as races! I'll give ya a little kudos on the shitstang depending on the year! And if it wasn't pre1970, it don't count either! Hehehe
Any power mods you attempt I'm sabotaging until ya get some low range! I don't want to have to tow you around TB!

yay finally svt is up and running!! so glad you got him up and running now drive to henderson so i can actually see and hear him in person!!

You want to hear it vahrvignuggin your VW driving tail down here! I got to keep him in the shop to fix a 97 and get my sas done! Scenic trips are on hold till dec 11-12!
Plus he needs some way to fund keeping that fuel pump from burning out from sucking air!

Over all I'm very happy the way it turned out, I just have some little bugs to work out, got to adjust the shifter cable (not going all the way into park and the lock mechanism engaging), need to adjust the shifter pointer in the dash (had that before the swap, just never fixed it), might have to look at the cooling department, as when I get on it (as in stop light to stop light hard accelerations....What, like you can stay off the throttle with a new power plant:D) it gets a little hot, and that is without the AC on, so during the summer I might have cooling issues, but I already thought of a couple solutions, need to get intake plenum spacer on as well as install cooling fan control sending unit and relocate my mechanical water temp sending unit. The plenum spacer, and water temp sending unit are not needed, but I'm going to move some things around and reinstall the factory gauge sending unit in its original location and install my mechanical sending unit and the cooling fan sending unit in the rear of the intake and see how that works...

ahh! people need to stop finishing their chit... Haha... I really need to finish/start mine...

Truck looks and sounds great... I can't wait to have a V8 in my ranger..

Nothing much to it really...We can get you set up...for under a grand and probably at least half of that can be recovered from selling leftover parts...
SVT

Well, SVT is gonna have to wait for another week until he gets more mods done, I had a couple of trucks come into the shop for work...saturday I have training and a possible job security lined up, we'll see...then its off to the g/f's house again sunday to turn some more wrenches on the V8 2002 TJ swap I'm doing on her dad's rig, I should have it back together and mounted in the truck this time...Then its back here around tuesday night/wednesday morning, hopefully I can get the customer's trucks done so I can get SVT back in for the hydroboost and custom remote reservior built my Iron Ranger, which I might say is so badass!!! Wait til you see it, I was  before I got it!! Say Tuned:icon_thumby:

Hey, I'll not sabotage those tweaks you got to work out, but there's a SAS install going on there too!!

B2,
might want to hold off on the trip this way for a couple weeks, so we can get that 35 out of mine! Or you can pick it up on the way home after the Dec TB run!
