Had my ranger on solid axles for a few years now but I'm not happy with the way the radius arms preform with the bushings plus they wear out too fast , i currently have wild horse extended arms but I'm now going to customize a set of stock arms useing some 2" 250 wall DOM and currie Johnny joints

Here's some shots of my truck as it sat before

3" body lift and 31s how it was when I got it

Would look awesome with a front guard or bull/grille guard! Are you going to clean up the bodywork?

Yea it will be getting a front bumper , full exo and tube bed on the back , I have new doors for it but I'm not really too worried about the body damage

If you're going to seriously offroad, use the current doors until they break off! :P

Truck has been seriously offloaded already , the body damage is alot worse than the pics , in bc we have alot of tight trails and trees , body damage is a given lol

Here's some of the other upgrades I've done in the past

Youkon spool and genuin gear 4.10s

I think most of your Radius arm issue is because the amount of Lift and the Radius arm Pivot point being At frame Level , Not Sure If I'm way off here or Not , But most of the SAS RBV's I see have Some kind of Drop brackets off the frame farther than the Stock location , Hopefully I do not sound like a Total Newb about SAS's haha , But Sweet Rig and Nice Work So Far ! .

What is the lug pattern on your chevy outers?
Also, did you have to get new axle shafts?

The longer arms make my caster angle very bad and the further I drop them off the frame the worse it gets , that why I'm going with shorter arms and Johnny's to improve my caster and pinion angel , my diff has cast wedged so I can't move them or do a cut and turn cuz it won't change my pinion angle

To use the Chevy outters you need chevy knuckles , calipers ,caliper brackets ,stub shafts and small bearing Chevy spindles

Then take a ford 5 on 5.5 rotor and bearing hub and use that , then you retain the 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern and get hi-steer knuckles

You can get the Chevy parts from a 44 or 10 bolt frontend just make sure you get the small bearing spindles there the only ones that fit the ford wheel bearings

Hey man, nice Lookin truck. Yours is the only other Sas I've seen around the lower mainland. Used to see it almost every morning

Been working on my front end whenever I get time , built a crossmember our of 2x4 1/4 wall box tube and some 5x1/4 flat plate

I cut the ends at a slight angel to match the frame as it tapers inward to the front of the truck
D9C60E68-76FD-4D87-9439-4DD15B01FE7F-1067-0000018C4E039333.jpg

Then onto the tabs , I used two TMR link tabs for the outside mounts and I made my own out of 1/4 plate for the inner ones , I had to keep the outside tab on the small side for frame clearance purposes but the inner ones rap around the crossmember for strength , the outter will get some gusseting too once I get everything mocked up and know its going to work

Everything lines up good , got my caster angle set to 6 degrees , now I will start working on my arms and make sure things are good before final welding my crossmember together
