Project Primer! NO 56K

Look for transparent vinyl, like in marine cockpit applications.

I love the half doors. I don't think I'd feel secure leaving the truck anywhere. Too many bad people in this world.

Well i guess i need a new name for this project... lol

Well I blew out my pinion bearing in my 8.8 so while i have the axle out I decided it's time to get rid of that cheap plastic diff cover so I decided to make my own.

Ya the truck is rattle canned... It's the cheap and easy way to repair trail rash...

Well since i have half doors and I can't always make it out side in time to put my window inserts in before it starts raining, I wanted to get a set of seats that I don't have to worry about getting wet so I got some plastic racing buckets. I put these in around mid summer and just haven't gotten around to posting pictures of them.

Thanks, I really like 1st and 2nd gens. I would of rather had a first gen but the 2nd Gen came stock with a 4.0, can't beat that!

hey man awesome build!

i just wanna make sure im reading this right... you fit 35x12.50x15 tires on a 2nd gen with fender trimming and a 3" BL???

what kinda offset rims are you running and are you having any problems with rubbing?

Thanks,

Ya, I was running 35's on just a body lift with about 3 inches cut out of the fenders, not so much trimming. My wheels have 4 inch backspacing.

Well I'm ditching the spare tire carrier in my bed and this is the inspiration for the new tire carrier

Here is the progress so far. I am having it function like a tailgate instead of a swing out and instead of mounting it to the bed, I am mounting everything to my bumper because it seems like it will be stronger that way. It will also be able to mount both both ways like the one on that site.
