the truck is getting parked for a while , i found an 87 F-150 to DD for $450 until i can get the parts together to rebuild her from the ground up

EDIT: i may have just found a ranger on craigslist , totalled , 97 with a 2.3 and an 8.8 L/S with 3.73 gears , $300 for the whole truck , hopefully the guy still has it , if so , i am going to look at it tomorrow and confirm the 3.73 and 8.8

well it turns out the same guy had both trucks , i bought them as a package deal for $700 , the ranger only has a 7.5 in it , so i am gonna salvage waht i can for my truck from it (including the factory power sunroof :thefinger:) and then sell the rest , it has 46k original miles on it , totalled in the winter of 00-01 , drove under its own power into his dads backyard , and sat since

i put my TRS windshield banner on my truck , will take some pics in a few

also , i am swapping my 7.5 back in for the time being , hopefully i can salvage the 8.8 housing

the only parts i am saving for my truck are the the bed minust the bedsides , the fuel filler , and the power sunroof , the core support and grille , etc are shot from a front end collision , but the rest is all there
 
been workin on the F-150 , but got a line on a 4.0 with trans , computer and harness for $350
 
what rear end does the parts ranger have ???
 
well i figured i would bring this back from the dead , i am down in jersey right now , picked up an engine , trans and everything else i need for the 4.0 swap , stopping up in north jersey to pick up another rear axle ( this one has the correct gears and has never been touched ) , on monday i am gonna swap the axle out of the blue truck ( again ) and make it so i can drive it down to college , the gonna take the backrack off ( do not trust anyone at college ) and put the new engine/trans in the bed of it , i will get some new pics up tonight of the engine/trans and axle , and some other ones on monday when i do the swap again , and some pics of my new steel inner bed for it

oh , and i now have another ranger for a permanent daily driver , so this is becoming a trail rig
