Ya. Its needs a little TLC. Struts for the window and the arms for the lock fell off, but it does have a good locking handle. I had clamps for it, but I am sill searching for those.
If it helps at all, 1badexplorer has a shortbed off a 94. It's in pretty good shape and at his garage in west newton. I'm not sure what he wants for it, but he's on this thread. Or send him a pm.
alright man, send some pics and as long as its fairly functional and not a complete eye soar ill prob take it.
and as long as 1bad isnt like flower automotive wanting 900 for a stepside that was rusted out sitting in a mud puddle ill look into it
doesnt sound too bad, i may paint it if needed in the future, im gonna need one for the winter to keep the snow out.
yeah i messaged him just now about it, would be awesome to finally get one
i paid $500 for the freaking truck lol, theres no way im paying that unless its brand new and comes with a pussy magnet.
they also ordered the wrong fenders for me and were trying to tell us thats what we ordered even though they told us what the total was.
Almost done... I am going back to finish it tomorrow
Joey's dad welded the exhaust for me today:
I am going to hit that with a coat or two of grill paint for protection. It tucks up under the truck really well. I got a piece of all thread to make the hangar for it. And as 1bad predicted, it makes no difference in the sound level with or without it, but it I need it for inspection...
I am going to put the new seat in tomorrow, get the fender liners bolted in, put the exhaust in, put the skid plate on, clamp the cap down, check to make sure everything is tight, and take her for a maiden voyage. I'll have her inspected on Monday and hopefully driving her to work before the end of the week!
So after adjusting the toe-in so the truck was driveable, I took it to get gas. I have to say, that Duff Suspension may be pricey, but the truck rides like a caddy
Its going this week to get an alignment and inspection. But nothing is ever that easy for me... Before it goes anywhere, it needs a new starter solenoid. That shit the bed tonight... The hangar for the exhaust needs tacked on too. Its so damn close!
1bad has those shocks now. They wound up being to long, but the regular duff shocks ride very nice.
I put 1354 manual tcase in, rebuilt the tranny, and put in a 28 spline 8.8 with an eaton posi. I put teraflex shackles on the rear. It has a jet chip on the motor and a 135 alternator. Everything else was pretty much replacing and repair. About the only thing that hasn't been rebuilt is the motor. Hopefully I will get some more life out of it.
And those are able to handle a good bit of the trails you ride on in latrobe?
Were they too long as in he couldn't fit them, or as in he didnt have a setup to pull all the travel, ooooor was he getting too much travel and his leafs were binding?
