Project Life Support.

Lets say I don't replace them, what could happen?

Wood bumpers on. I have to go to work today at noon so I figured I might as well slap something on. No worries, it's only temporary.

I broke one of the clips on the bumper support, so the bolt just spins. I tried wedging it, breaking it, and using vice grips but no luck. I'm going to have to cut the bolt. Dunno when that will happen, I'll have to see about borrowing a cut off wheel from the neighbor for the air compressor.

For future reference (both for me and you) the bolts for the bumper support are 1/2 inch, the bolts for the valance are 5/16, and the bolts that hold the bumper on to the truck are 13/16.

Nice, I never though a piece of 2x8 could give a truck an aggresive "don't F#%@ with me" look. I guess the stitches help.

But wow, that's hell of a lot of rust. By the looks of it, you have a busy summer ahead of you.

Thanks, it's mostly just the look, if I actually hit something it would snap instantly.

And yeah, quite a busy summer. I have to change the oil pan and the transmission lines, and fix my power steering. The drain plug nut on it's on crooked and it messed up the threads, the previous owner was an idiot. I'm just going to JB weld it so it won't leak anymore.

I'm still trying to decide if I should fix my exhaust. It's low on my priority list and I like how my truck sounds.. but I don't want the bed to rust out from the exhaust coming up through it.

is that crack supposed to be there? cuz its in the exact same spot on my 93 ranger, it pisses me off just cuz its sticks out, and i also melted that chrome peice with a set of 4-WHEELER jumper cables, didnt know they made diffrent sizes! and my jy doesnt have any 93-97 rangers in it so im going to have to wait a while till they get some in, cuz i have a list of junk to get aswell.

Nope, not supposed to be there. If you look at it there's a spot that's cut out for a clip there or something on the top side, makes it a stress point so if it breaks it's usually there. I just try to ignore it.

My yard has about four gen three rangers, none of them have anything I need though and ALL of them have 3.73 axles so I can't get one of those either. I want 4.10's for my rear. Hopefully it will increase my MPG since I have larger tires than what my crappy gear ratio should have.

made them send me an email when they get one on the yard, and im going to get a grill and that peice that is broken and im going to paint it like yours, im going to tear up that gen 3 when they finally get one:icon_bounceblue:

Whats going on with the Frankenstein stitching on the bug sheild??

lol

Last winter my Father broke it cleaning about 9 inches of snow off from it. I decided to patch it back together because I liked how it looked and how it kept bugs off my windshield. Now I can't find one that looks close because the company discontinued them, even though they're an aggressive looking bug shield.

I like the look. It will be even better when I paint the grill and mirrors to match, and get a valance put on it. I was going to pick one up today but like an idiot I forgot a 1/2 inch socket so I couldn't take the support off the bumper in the yard to get to a couple of the bolts on the valance.

ALWAYS BRING YOUR ENTIRE TOOLBOX NOT JUST WHAT YOU THINK YOU NEED

On a side note, what do you guys think about me putting these skulls on my xwindows?

I'm not too sure that I like the placement.

i dont like the placement either,on my truck i have a caper like the one u had, and i put a big BAKER sticker on the back, Baker is my last name, so i would like to see that sticker on the back window, maybe on on each bottom corner. or just a big one in the middle.
did you photoshop that on or is it still really freakin cold up there?,
