Are you looking for sound/performance or the 'bling' of a shiny CAI? Personally I say clean everything really well and it'll look just fine. Its how it runs that really matters after all.

x2 on what RSH said, hope the Ranger runs good and glad to see you putting it back on the road again.![]()
Thanks!
Anyways guys, here's what I've been up to the past few days.
The main thing I've been doing is JB welding my oil pan. I mostly got the bottom and sides, the front was almost inaccessible. If it still leaks bad I'll try to get that next oil change. I picked up a pack of those 5oz tubes of JB weld, since they were huge and only the price of two 1oz tubes it was an amazing deal. It was like slathering peanut butter on it.

Then I figured I would clean up that rust on the tailgate, but I ended up just hiding it. I have to be careful opening and closing it so the chrome wont hit, but it's only temporary till I find a replacement. It's a little rough looking too but better than rust holes.

Donor for the chrome strip was my Nissan.

Next I dressed up the engine bay a little bit in my spare time, since I was bored and I STILL can't find my wire spool.

I'm trying to decide if I want to paint the air box and put in a modified intake tube. Not sure yet. There isn't much of a difference there but it's just a start. I plan on running red wires and possibly some other red stuff in there, just to make it look different.

While I was out there with the camera I had to snap another picture of the carnage with the grand prix. This will be replaced as soon as the JY has a sale I like.

Oh, and I painted my cup holder.. it was cheaper than buying a new one to replace the nasty stained one I had.
