small update-
i had been having trouble keeping my truck timed correctly, started to think the timing chain was skiping teeth but wasnt sure because the previous owner told me the engine was out of a wrecked rig that only had 77k on it, so the timing chain could not have warn out that fast. well last monday it proved it was, i was in fife about 45 min from my house and my truck wouldnt start and sounded like there was no compression. after along day i finally got my friend with a big powerstroke to tow me home. once i opened her up i saw that the top gear was a quarter of a turn past alignment with the gear on the crank. so i replaced the timing chain and she fired right up and sounded great. got all that done by saturday (have college classes durring the week).
but today when i went to drive her home she would start then die after running for 1-2 min. i managed to lip it home and then went crazy trying to trace the problem. long story short i had a spare coil, distributor, and ignition module laying around and i started replacing them one by one tell it was fixed. it ended up being the ignition module, the last part i tryed lol.
but shes running great now and im going to finished up the stinger for the bumper this week and then get started on the lights for the bumper
