[91 Big Red]

Hello i'm new i have a 91 ranger extended cab with 8 inch suspension 2 inch body lift. needs much work and i figureed i'd post my pics as my project comes along.i was driving it as an every day driver an it took alot of work to get it there, it sat in a field for 6 years before i got my hands on it and it was in very rough shape!

this is what it looked like the day after i got it. ball joints were bad, basically every bushing that could go bad in the fron end was bad. oh yea and the wheel bearings were bad (its not fun when 35/12.50 tires and wheels just fall off!)

had to custom make a Z bar for the steering because mine looked like an upside down y even with a drop pitman arm.

this is what it looks like right now, the 2.9 just couldn't hold up anymore bc of its previous owner's abuse so i am putting a low miles 4.0L in it.

i'm from pensylvaina, right now i'm just trying to build a nice big truck but after i get out of college i think i'm gunna go a little crazy and go 8 inches higher with a custom 4 link and i'm gunna tear the front nose off and re desigh it so i can fit a big block. idk if anyone saw the episode of horsepower tv but there is a company that makes a 1000 ci motor that i'd like to try out.

they're bushwhacker fender flares but i don't like em all that much i like to smooth thing together to make them subtle. i'm going to get fiberglass 4 inch buldge fenders all the way around. i put a whole new interrior in it bc it was a rats nest. i did have a problem with my tires rubbing on the radius arms but then i bought the wheels off of a buddy of mine and they're micky thompson 15x8 with i think its an inch dished out over stock and that eliminated that problem. and oh yea thats my fiancee in that pic.
