Project B2R

Looks good! I like the sliders. Wish I had the luxury of working on my rig in a shop like you. Keep up the good work

Thanks for the comments guys, it's good to be back at it again.

Chance, I'm definately up for any sort of wheeling adventure once my rig is done.

Poor little D30 is screaming and it hasnt even left the shop yet :icon_rofl:

Sold the 35" Pro Comps and picked up some 36" TSL's. They run tall for a 36", a full 1.5" taller than those Pro Comps when aired up. There's some serious clearance under that diff now.

After much procrastination, I started bobbing the bed tonight. I hate bobbing dual walled beds, early toyotas are so much easier. I'll be honest in that the few (B2R style) beds I've seen done and mounted, I haven't liked how they turn out. Makes the truck look weird IMO. I'm doing mine a bit different though so we'll see. If nothing else I'll throw the bed away and tube it.

So I finally got around to building my transmission crossmember this past weekend. Couldn't find a stock one that would even come close to working and didn't want to hack one up to make it work. I happy with the way it turned out. Clears the front driveshaft, exhaust, super easy to pull in and out.

I'm almost finished with new my radius arm mount too. Just going to make a quick little support for the rear t-case, pull it out and paint it, then re-install.

Wow Mav, looks killer. I love it.

Clock your rear case before you build the mount for it.

Thanks for the praise, but damn you for suggesting that I clock my case :thefinger: I was against it at first, but after looking at it and thinking it over, it's coming back out this weekend to get clocked. I swear all I do is go backwards on this thing :icon_rofl:

haha, just make sure you've still got driveshaft clearance with the pretty crossmember you just made.

The extra clearance you get by clocking it may not be "necessary", but if you can do it you may as well.

Yeah I'll double check the crossmember clearance before I go forward with it. At least this way I'll have more clearance between my CV and the doubler case. As it is right now I've only about 3/16".
