you plannin on lowering it or lifting it 2wd style?

4 in lift 31 in tires and 4:11 gears that would be a fun little 2wd off roader. You could also make it 4wd and go from there

Im looking to lift it, cant drive this anywheres where i go if its lowered, i like the idea of the 4 inch lift, how much do you think im lookin at for 4:11 gears, and what would be the best was to lift the front. once i get a good solid idea, ill post pictures of the build. this is all i have for pictures for right now and iv done alot to rebuild the hot rod, ground up build to make it road worthy

with 4:11 it depends on your axle and i camt see you really needing a halfton enless you are plaining to run big big tires and if you do that you will need to eather shorting it or wideing the front and a skyjacker is an amazing lift

I have a 94 ranger 2wd with 9 in of total lift and 33 in tires. I only have the 2.3 so I went with 4.56 even when I only had 30 in tires and it made a world of difference.

well as for my build plan, its on a tight tight tight budget,(2 shifts a week at sobeys = 8 hours a week, at 8.10 an hour) but i have found a truck that has a 4x4 front end just needs hubs, so i was in school today thinking of what i could do to the hot rod, and i had the idea to paint it, from various shades of blue, to a gloss black,so, at 3:10pm, went to see the lady friend for a minute, which ended up being a good hour of fighting with her about not being able to do anything with her tonight, came home, sanded and taped and sanded some more, and painted it, so now its about 12:30am and i just finished. from what i could see, it turned out good, i have a very very small garage that is very dirty, but for what i have it came out good, i used armour coat paint and a sprey gun. i will post some pictures tomorrow of it out in the day light and what not, hope you enjoy what i accomplished:thefinger:

so i rolled the truck out of the garage into the beautiful nova scotia weather, which is clouds and dampness, the old girl came out pretty good, i really needed the truck today and i no im gonna kick my self in the arse for takeing it because the paint its still sticky but not wet, if anyone knows what i mean, but besides that, tape is all off and its all back together, ill have pics around 4:30-5:00. but does anyone know why i might not have any brake lights, or signals in the back, they worked last night

a few pics, more to come

hey ladys, i got some pict5ures of the new paint job, still have to do some touch ups. long after noon with the lady friend:D, but, here is what i managed to get its a sample
