Hello guys. :D
Anyone had struggle mounting the fuelrail to the injectors? Mounted the injectors to the bottom then got mounted the rail kinda on and got the screws on.. But when I try to get the c clips on the hole injector comes up and to me that does not seems good.. Anyone had problems like this?.. o_O
The first picture got the c clips on and look at the gap on the bottom?..
The last picture is the injector mounted as I mean it is supposed to be.

You did it backwards. Connect the fuel rail to the injectors with the clips first, then get the injectors on one side started just inside their ports, get the other three started in their ports, then press straight down on the fuel rail. It goes without saying, but first make sure the injector ports are clean and lightly coat them and the o-rings with motor oil, etc (never use silicone grease, as it can clog the injectors).

As an afterthought, I decided to attach this page from the service manual.

Yes, install the injectors into the rail then install the rail/injectors into the ports

Atleast you didnt do what i did...

I missed the 2 bolts by the valve cover when i pulled my rail off and thought the injectors were stuck and went and got a prybar.

Ended up bending the rail to where it was unuseable.

oops.

Ouch! Now that's a lesson, I took the fuel rail off without the injector and i thought i was going to break the hole thing! Just lucky i didn't?
