Premier Paint in Alliance Ohio screwed me


thats sucks! it doesnt matter if u order 1/16 of paint or 16 gallons, they should give better treat to costumers, cus they dont know if later that costumer will come back for a big order.
i had way better treatment when i got 1/16 of white paint for my bumpers for what ive seen lol. the guys at the store explained me all that i had to do to get a perfect paint job, from mixing, temp and sanding!

by the way i know TRS-2, thats one awesome truck!!

I get screwed on a regular basis too...such is life

Last time it was a power steering pump, had a brand new one on a 2.8 that needed to go on my 2.9. I took both pumps, brackets, and pulleys down to have them switched real quick and ended up with a 2.8 bracket, 2.9 pulley and a new pump. Didn't work out so well so I took it back, the dropped the pump and broke it. Days later I ended up with the same bracket/pulley setup that didn't work.

Maybe somebody high up in Dupont will see this thread and offer to paint your truck for you or something.
 
I'd suggest going to their website, filling out a complaint form, and follow it up if they don't get you some satisfaction...you might even get a sponsorship out of them if you mention TRS and how many members you have...20,000 potential customers X 4 (average number of friends or relatives) compounded by WOM can be a great drop in their sales...
 
Jim, can you post an email for the company and allow us to email them on behalf of TRS as users. As well as copying this post with our opinions to them in an email. Perhaps if they know the extent of how little you are by OUR accounts, they wont be so quick to dismiss you.

Also they are losing the fact that you were willingh to throw the Dupont name out for free on a nationally recognized vehicle and now the word of mouth is gonna hurt them. That might be worth something.

Perhaps an email to the Dupont company themselves might give you a little boost of customer service when they see they are losing business due to bad customer service on a dealers behalf. Im telling you now, form firsthand experience, if you throw a big enough fit you wont be little in their eyes anymore. And never hang up the phone. Let them hang up on you or give you what you want. It took me a 6 hr phone call with Best Buy Customer service to get my laptop replaced, 5 hrs of it was sitting there BUllshitting with the operator because I wasnt hanging up til "they" found a solution, and since they couldnt hang up on me, we wasted alot of the company time.
