Powertrax

When I ran synthetic, it did not lock sometimes when it should have. IDK it was weird I would go through a turn then hit the throttle through the apex and it wouldn't lock sometimes until a while after I went straight. I could feel it pulling to one side then all of the sudden it would lock. As soon as I put non-synthetic in it worked flawlessly. :dunno:

check the tech library for converting the codes from your tag. the LockRight is NOT a limited slip. it will lock both axles together when one of the tires looses traction. a limited slip just transfers the power from the slipping wheel to the other one. works well most of the time, but there are situations where you may be hung up and the l/s is useless.
if you are mechanically inclined, you can install the LockRight yourself. the instructions are pretty good. spiders come out and the locker goes in. no gears to be set up or anything like that.
iirc, the LockRight and the No Slip are very similar in design and function.

Actually LockRight diffs do not "Lock when one tires loses traction"

They simply lock any time sufficient torque is applied to the driveshaft
(in either direction)

It is only a narrow range on either side of "coasting" that they actually "unlock"

actually the way a locker works is that it is locked all of the time unless you are coasting around a corner. if you are in the gas it will lock up even in a corner.

Correct, but not all lockers work this way...

The lockright and the various copies (Aussie Locker and EZ-Locker) are best defined as a "Cam & Pawl" locking differential

Any time sufficient torque is applied to the carrier the crosspin wedges the two inner plates against the outer plates and all rlative motion between those parts stops.

The actual relative location between the inner plates and the outer plates is irrelevant.
In service when unlocked ONE outer plate turns freely relative to the inner plates.

if properly installed there is insuffieient free space for more than one outer playe to unlock.
