Has anyone converted manual mirrors in a 1994 ranger to power I have a 2001 with all the stuff I need but I don’t know the best way to do it. Thanks

Going to follow this. I just upgraded from the manual paddle mirrors to the oem power mirrors and need to find out what the pin outs are for the mirror connectors and the switch so I can run some wires from the mirrors to the switch I got at the JY.

Not much to them, any DC electric motor spin clockwise OR counter clockwise, based on polarity of its 2 wires, 12v or ground, + or -
So the master control is a Polarity control, sends +/- or -/+ to each motor to move the mirror up/down, left/right
(same applies to power windows, power door locks, even electric 4WD contol)

You do need to run 3 wires from drivers door to the passenger door

And you need a 12v wire and a Ground wire to the Drivers door
12v can be full time, like factory mirrors or key on 12v, your choice
The door metal is NOT a good ground, need to ground to cab metal

Couple of Ranger power mirror diagrams here
NCA on wiring diagrams means No Color Assigned, which usually means the "part" was made with wire leads attached so need to use Pin IDs to match Ranger color code

If you get the mirrors from a junkyard/u-pull-it, be sure to grab the mirrors, switch, and all the connectors with wires too. The complete door harness would make things easy too.

When I did this on my Nissan, I grabbed the door harness complete that lead into the A-pillar and cut the wires off on the body side connector. Check and see if some models have heated mirrors.
