Post your motorcycle pics in here!

I had an Evil Knievel like that! It doesn't date me, does it? I also had one with a toothed cord that you yanked out to spool it up.

Love that Green Triumph.

I'll play along! I think y'all can figure out which one is my fav!

War$$ 2010 Road Glide, was stock, just got some attention! Awaiting Jamie's 2-1 stainless pipe, a big sucker then it goes on the dyno for 5-8 hrs of tuning time.
I also have a 1995 super glide with 113" CI but I'd have to hook up the ext hard drive to find any pics of it.
Been riding 27 yrs got a bunch of aches & pains, a few 100 thous miles, a LOT of memories, Brothers around the world & some after market body parts from motorsicklin! I'll quite riding when someone buries me or puts me in an urn!

Getting the new wheels lined out.

Oh hell there went the neighborhood! He's biker trash now! :icon_rofl::beer:

BTW, does that CR still haul ass? I had one many moons ago, drove the shifter peg into my foot. That was my 2nd trip to the ER because of a bike.

Rode my first bike this summer, my cousin bought an R1 and had me come over and ride it up and down his street (no traffic) a few times... got my motorcycle licenses a few days later and now I really want one!

I'm not sure whats all done to his, but it's crazy fast!

Definitely going to get one this coming up summer.

Nothing wrong with starting on an R1. It's not the bike, it's the rider. Take your time, you'll figure it out! Or, let it all hang out, you'll figure that out too! But I'll tell ya roadrash more than once & an aftermarket hip at 41 are no joke!

I scared the crap out of my self in a r1. 189 was to fast

I went that fast on a GSXR on the autobahn. Then I thought about wrecking, slowed down to 140 & still thought about wrecking. Was young at the time, decided, oh WTH.:icon_confused:

Ya that sounds about right. Lol. Now I'll just stick with my Harley

It's more than just the rider. I've read that second year riders get killed the most. You get confident and trade in the 250 for a bigger bike after the first year. That's a given--everyone does it. The second year, on your new bigger bike, you get killed.

Here is my 2002 RM125 and my girlfriends 2001 YZ80.

Lovely. I've never ridden an offroad bike but I'm thinking about getting one.

I was reading about motorcycle Grand Prix and they had a 125cc 2-stroke class (it's now a 250 4-stroke class) and those bikes run 155mph on a 125cc motor--7 cubic inches. 7 cubic inches and 40hp. A 5hp Briggs is 12 cubes. It's amazing how much power those little motors make.

Honestly, it was tough learning to ride this 250. All of my vehicles are diesel: a bus, a crewcab pickup, a 15-px van--even my Passat I shift at 2,000rpm. The fuel injected 250 in my bike runs well at low rpms so I just shift it like a truck and it seemed weak at first. Then I started experimenting with the revs and realized that if you drive it like you hate it, it makes lots of power. The diesels make short, heavy pushes between shifts. The bike likes long, screaming revs.

I can see now how an 80 or 125 would easy do the job in a bike. 155mph with 125ccs? Damn.

They are rather fun, took them out to some local dunes yesterday and had a lot of fun. Gotta love a 2 strokes power band.

The really crazy 2-strokes are the old 50cc GP bikes.

Peaky powerband? 14 speed tranny says no big deal!

Those Suzuki were making 17.5hp at 17,000rpm. Top speed of 110mph. Their replacement was to be a 3cyl 50cc, with 14sp transmission, and a useful powerband window of only 500rpm, up above 20,000rpm. Top speed of 120mph. But the sanctioning bodies limited 50's to single cyl, and 6sp transmissions, so Suzuki bailed out, and Kreidler Van Veen started dominating.

Curse this cold weather... at least put some snow on the ground if it's going to be cold! So ready to ride.

Missing my 500...
