I hit some mud. It just isn’t something I like to immerse my truck in on a regular basis.

I think I did enough...



"Mudholes" were mostly just water. With new gear oil, new wheel bearings and a long ways home I avoided what I could. I think the deepest water I ran in was at the tail end of the first clip I shared.

First taking off I was the last in the line and realized I had forgotten to turn on my back gopro. So I stopped to do that and lost the group. So I went out in the direction they went not realizing they had turned off for a bathroom break before heading out. So I went charging out on a trail by myself. To complicate this as I was on top the levee I could see a dark gray truck with a white topper in the distance in the parking area to the left... like Petroleumjunky who I was following before. But I couldn't get to that parking area from the trail I was on and it wasn’t him anyway. I eventually came to some mud that I didn't think Mr Junky could get thru with his street tires... so I turned around and found the herd and from there we did first video I posted.

Next time come whether you have a truck to drive or not. It's a great time, and you'll almost certainly be able to ride shotgun in a truck like my son and I did.

hell yeah...

the view of ryan climbing in the distance at the end.......

as soon as i got over the tall rock on that spot and my chassis walked over.... i realized i did not have my trac bar on and was bummed... too much leverage on the box and pump.


i had to prioritize trucks when i got unexpectedly moved out to pa....truck was half tore apart 6 hours before i left for the meet....

I wish I had parked by 03’s truck. I had actually forgotten to turn the camera off and by sheer dumb luck caught that.
