i figured this was the spot for this, seeing as it is a "kit". well tomorrow morning i get started on the sas. i know there will be some haters out there because of the fabritech sas kit that i have (no i didnt pay the 2k for it either). i figure its going to be a good foundation, and start replacing fabritech crap with better crap. plans are to have this done by saturday at the very latest. there are a few things im missing at the moment: extended brake lines, front drive shaft, rear end gears. i bought the eb d44, fabritech sas kit, rear leafs, wheel adapters, and the tires for less than 1000. feel free to add comments...

Doesnt matter what people say. Its your truck, do what you want to it.

i thinks it a good deal. the tires look they have alot of life left in them. you basically have everything you need. good job and good luck on the swap.

already have a replacement for the super shitty panhard bar mount. that was the major thing i was worried/concerned about with this kit. good possibility i might even have new/better radius arms as well. ill have to see if i can talk the guy out of them. and yes getting new rims cause the ones i got were for a dodge 3/4 8 lug.

All that for under a grand. Cant complain there, good deal.
Good luck on the build.

Looks like you have the kit set up for 8 inch springs.I have two of those kits one for 6 inch coils and one for 8 inch coils. The way there mounted is supposed to give you two inches of lift plus the coils.Do you have a better pic of the trac bar mount?I bought both of my kits cheap and the 8 inch one is new.If you decide to get rid of the radius arms and trac bar mount I would be interested. My gf wants a straight axle in her super cab.She wants a mall crawler.

made lots of progress today. got the ttb tore out in about an hour just pussy-footing around. then had to take a few hours for break. got back to work around 430 and got the axle sitting on wheels around 630-700. was pretty successful. will post up pics a little later.

ttb lift out took around an hour or so.

yeah i can take a pic of the track bar mount tomorrow when i head back up to work on it. i guess ive desided to keep it this way until hopefully next month. well see though. but ill send ya a pic of it anyways.

Not bad for a bolt on. Looks like the tires/axle sits back furture then it should.

DAMN DUDE , did you do all that in a day or two? That is nice work! How much welding is required and will it work on most IFS rangers -i love the 4.0L and our interiors but I miss ttb and was afraid i was going to have to get a wrangler:bawling: cause I go through trucks fast:sad:

sounds like a great deal, I've sold worse wheels and tires than your new ones for almost $1000 so all that for 1K sounds good and it looks good too!
