Currently seeing adds for the Bar Harbor coin and precious metal exchange. I’m Bar Harbor Maine.

have not been looking up business in Maine or places to sell old coins.

It also depends on how your privacy settings are set. For instance, on safari on my phone, it blocks all cross-site tracking, so I don’t really get personalized ads. Just a smorgasbord of things, kind of like what you get.

On the other hand, when I use Firefox on my computer, I get ads more tailored to me because I allow TRS specifically to track, for the sole reason of getting relevant ads (tools, parts, the occasional tech ad, etc).

Just something to keep in mind, I love my privacy as much as the next guy but the completely random ads bug me sometimes.

I just need to get around to signing up for the supporting member donation.

I don't exempt myself from the ads so I know what everyone is seeing and what the ads are doing. Obviously, we don't all see the same ads. Right now I'm see ads for paint (makes sense because I was searching online for latex paint) and an ad for Temu. I don't shop Temu, but whatever. It's probably just a filler to display a variety.

I don't have any control over the ads you see. Sometimes it's based on your browser history, but I'm sure it sticks in filler ads.

I don't pay that much attention to them.

I don't see where you have a supporting member banner. Did you renew? It's typically one year. If you did renew... will have to poke Jim and have him correct it.

I just noticed that myself. 10 was pulled out April 9th according to my checking account. It seems to do this every yr for some reason.not sure why

I think that may be part of the reason Jim is going to update the forum with new software. The current software can not update anymore and he seems ro be having more and more problems with it. Member subscription renewals being one of them. It's supposed to automatically update but he seems to have to manually update more and more as time goes on.
