Got the bent up core support out and as you can see in the pic the end of the one frame rail is bent.

Some might think we are crazy but with some blocks of wood and a bottle jack and a hammer you can make things move

it was not bent where it would affect anything so it was easy to bend it back. Now we are in need of some parts. Got a new core support on the way.
The old bent and unusable parts

Did the radiator contact the fan during all of this? If so? I'd replace the fan, clutch, and waterpump. Looks like it got nailed hard enough to cause internal damage.

S-

Yes it did. And that is the plan because I don't trust that fan in the first place lol

Glad your sister is OK. The damage looked worse than it actually was. And that is a good thing.

if it was anything but a ranger i would say its dead :D

Heck, most insurance adjusters would say the same thing in my area. Glad to see it's going to get a 2nd chance!!

The insurance would not pay out for it because it was only a 1 car accident. The guy that towed it was trying to keep it. And kept saying its not worth towing it home. We wanted it no matter what because if it was on fixable I wanted it for parts.

Damn you guys are working on it pretty quick. So did the insurance company just total the truck out or how did that work out in that situation? Can't wait to see it put back together. Lots and lots of work but really there wasn't as much damage as I figured, the hard work is trying to get all the fasteners out to get the old parts out then put everything back together and line everything up properly. That could have had a very bad outcome.

Lol after the bent parts were off it wasn't as bad as it looked. They won't pay for the car because it only had liability insurance on it and since there was no other cars it's not covered. My mom filled out a form to hopefully get some money back on the towing. So it's still got a clean title lol.
