Covered, I pay a little over 100 a month, plus I pay about 26 a month for disability coverage. My boss works hard to try to find the best/cheapest coverage for us.

Been covered since 2004 when I got my first job. I know it hurts my pocketbook, but it has paid for those accidents when I needed medical help. I pay roughly $250 a month for health insurance.

In Canada I thought my health coverage was free...it is...if you don't make enough to actually pay for it...like me...but I just did my taxes (yes, I owe them money so I was dragging my feet) and found a page where we have to calculate how much we pay towards health insurance...

Fortunately, I didn't make enough to qualify for actually paying anything...but it looked like it could take a big chunk out of your return check if you made enough money (and paid enough taxes) to actually get anything back...

When I read some of the horror stories on here and other places about medical bills (my parents visited Florida one year and Mom got sick...cost my Dad over $3,000 to get her back and he was tempted to let them keep her till he could pay) I can only feel somewhat grateful for being on the sucking end of the taxpayers...although I've paid into the program most of my life I just can't see it being viable for much longer...too many sick and elderly to cover all those costs...

With October coming you should be able to sign up for your states health insurance program under the affordable care act. I'm now on Kaiser but before I had United Health until they upped it over 25% and I never had a claim under them. I have to see what the state of Ohio has planned for us.
