That is just stupid, and will help/solve what? I hope it does not pass. If it did that would hurt us every time we want a used part or a new replacement part, or are looking for a good used replacement ranger. To say nothing of the fact that we as taxpayers will be the ones paying for it.

I see the explorer is on the list I hope the ranger is not. But unfortunately it probably is.

Most likely will not happen. They just need to pass a bill stating that all newer vehicles will achieve a minimal mpg rating of 18 by 2010.

No crushing of vehicles. Auto industiral will need to make it happen. Also offer better pricing for hybrids or alternative fuel vehicles.

Even if it did pass, it's a voluntary program. No one is going to force anyone to give up their vehicles........................ not that I care, it's a US policy.
