PlumCrazy's F-1Fiddy Build

^ I remember replacing that vacuum modulator in my ranger.

Subscribing to this for sure.

My family had an 83 F250 growing up with the same blue on blue. Front tank was kaput, same woodgrain dash, etc. My brother, Dr.Danger on Pirate, has now done the D60 swap with leafs on it and it's sitting on 37s. If he hadn't gotten to it I think it would have gone to the graveyard.

Seeing that truck though sure brings the memories back!

Nice build so far! I would love to have a bullnose Bronco.

I have an '89 F350 4wd crew cab and a '92 F150 4wd extended cab short bed.

So you can definitely say I like these trucks!

Picked up the last piece to the hydroboost puzzle.

I noticed a vibration/shake at lower speeds over the last few weeks and thought maybe I had a bent rim or axle shaft...

Found the issue.

Both rear tires have dry rot in a 12" patch like they sat for a long time flat or something. Well apparently the band let loose.lol

So threw on the spare....

Jk. I decided to get a little more aggressive tread than before though. Good ole pizza cutters FTW.

I also wired up a 7 pin RV plug and used and an old bracket I had left over from my purple Ranger

I've had that happen to me a few times, when they are used and put on the wrong side that what they was on will do that.

posted using a chrome polish, and epoxy.

Got a little work done on both trucks this weekend..

First off. I finally found the source of my higher RPM squeak. Narrowed it down to the alt bearings, but it charges fine so I couldn't bring myself to drop $50-80 on a reman that would probably take a shit in a year. I ordered bearings and pulled it apart and replaced them. Sqeak is gone.

Popped the her trailer cherry... Hualed my brothers race car project to the farm to weld in the cage.

I was borrowing the trailer from my uncle, but he is upgrading this summer, so I decided to test fit the Ranger since I may buy it.

Fits like a glove. All the trailer needs is one tire since right after he replaced them one hit some debris on the freeway and took a huge chunk of tread off.

Gotta love fixing shit most people throw away. They're really not hard to rebuild. Truck's looking good bud.

Got around to installing the trans temp gauge.

Street tee to a 5/16 comp fitting.

Working under the dash of these old trucks is soo nice.lol No extra BS and tons of room.

Looks good. It almost perfectly matches. How much?

If I ever buy a car/something on craigslist for my ranger, I'm bringing you with me.
