PlumCrazy's Build

Rebuilt engine, new clutch, new frame rails, repaired both rear rims, tons of sheet metal repair (probably need to replace one hood panel eventually)... Governor wieghts came off and the timing gears ground them up...Then the oil pump pushed all that grit into all the bearings...

Basically. We have dozens more machines to do still.... Tractors are what my Dad plays with....He says my hobbies are pointless.haha. I spend months building something I plan to break or change anyway.

I'd argue that although they look cool, his hobby is archaic. I haven't met many women that want to take a lovely stroll into town on my restored Farmall with no suspension and minuscule muffler [emoji23]

Dang, you don't mess around. Kudos for not painting the wheels white. :icon_thumby:

My poor WD is still waiting for a radiator (mainly warmer weather to put in said radiator now)

Might be the Farmall part :secret:

It's a Series II and if there is one thing that drives Dad and I bonkers...It's that sort of lack of detail and accuracy.

Silver front outer rims like a IH or Case are my biggest peeve. :temper:

At least white wheels kinda look right, silver fronts... you have wires crossed.

Lol. ACs are confusing since the D series had series 1,2,3 and 4 which all used different paint combos, colors, and decals.lol

Sure it isn't a series I? I got to thinking, I think the cream came out for series II.

I can't complain too much I guess, my '45 and C are the later brighter color. When I was in high school my options for spray paint was A-C orange or A-C orange.

Typo on my part. It is a 1 (I) we think engine block and torque tube were replaced, so we don't have any serial numbers...lol

Thanks. Im itching to get out of hibernation...damn Ohio weather keeps teasing us with 60s and sunshine...then 20s and snow two days later.

You should build an orange Ranger with tractor tires and a diesel, and slap some Allis - Chalmers decals on it.

I have considered building an Allis powered flat fender Willy's...but I need to finish my other projects and win the Megamillions first

I have a set of Landhandler decals I was going to put on the WD-45 side shields before I quit tractor pulling with it.

The thought has crossed my mind to refinish my rollbar (strip the bedliner and paint it) and put them on the brace tubes... :icon_twisted:
