His Ranger measures 83" from sidewall to sidewall. A little narrower but with a wider tire. So his rims have less offset and dont rub his link bars. What are you guys doing wrong lol?
I think my ttb WITH a swaybar flexes as much as that blue solid axle Ranger. So tell me again, why pull the D35 ttb and swap a solid D44? :p

Constant alignments and bad wheel bearing spacing was why i swapped mine.

Flexes the same In the back maybe...

Ttb sucks. Rides bad flexes bad wears tires funny always needs alignment. ( although most wheeling trucks do) more complicated more wear items. And ive personally bent 3 sets of beams

Lol I agree that the wheel bearing spacing sucks and that they require regular attention. Ive never had any of my Rangers into a shop for a "professional" alignment though and dont wear tires funny unless somethings ****ed up. I got 80 000 kms out of a set of MTZs on my last Ranger. Ive cracked 2 beams in 10 years (driver side both times) but from what Plum said it sounds like people bend D60 axle tubes too. Im thinking all you ttb haters dont really understand it well enough - talk to Gwaii. He'll learn you ;p

I got superrunner steering and 35s on my d35 and love it. Its strong and flexy!

TTBs are like a huge rock plow. No clearance and they have an extra joint to destroy.

A few pictures from Saturday's trip. It was kind of a blah day. It was drizzly rain and slick.

I got hung up between two trees on Knuckle Buster and kept sliding into my left side.

Popped a shaft around 3pm and called it a day. I wasnt even pushing it hard when it popped. Just cruising up Blueberry Hill and...pop. I looked expecting to find a blown joint, but both were good. Pulled the lockout the issue was obvious. lol

The B2 debeaded a tire as usual, but luckily his OBA is kick ass.

FYI....the pictures of the B2 "flexin" are in the same exact place that I took the pics of my shopping cart suspension.

You must have 1 ton springs in the B2 lol. Its half the length of your Ranger so of course its gonna get tires in the air quicker then a Supercab. Besides a popped bead, nothing broke on the ttb with Boggers on it? Howd the big, tough D44 hold up with TSLs ;p

Not exactly a fair comparision... b2 33" boggers half the weight half the gearing... big surprise it breaks less. Ranger 38.5 tsls way more gearing probally 2000lbs heavier..

Btw. I'll be the first to admit that your homebrew suspension flexes ALOT more then my ttb. And maintains proper steering geometry as it flexes. Thats what I dislike the most about the ttb setup. I still think a tire over 35" requires more then a 1/2 ton diff lol.

The TTB is open diff on 31s....locked it would be in pieces. I was on 36s back then. Its not the tire size killing me...its the gearing.

This trucks open diff and michelin xls (36s)

Hasnt broken yet but the tires are skinny and dont grab anywhere near what an interco will

But no matter what the dana 35 ttb is nowhere near as good as a 44 in any respect. I was blowing shafts at will on 38.5" boggers with a 3.0 and 3:73s.... my buddys ranger is a 302 on the same tire with a 44 and fine

The pic above just shows how great TTB is at plowing into stuff.lol. Snow caked on the ole mud plow.lol
