Plug is last ditch for me. I will stick the spare on before I plug a tire.

Unless it is the lawn mower, it gets plugged.

I figure it will be easier to plug while the tire is mounted and being held in place by the vehicle.

I put the spare on and get the other one patched at a tire shop. If a second tire would go down in the mean time then I would start plugging.

Tried it once, then it just oozed out slime and was a PITA to patch.

When I bought my house, the previous owner left an old ride on mower. I refused to put money into it, but the rear tires kept going flat. I filled them with green slime. There was so much slime coming out of everywhere, those damn things looked like Chia Pets... but they held air.
