94 ranger clutch pedal position switch wires all were cut trying to rewire it new connector has all black wires .

Should just be two wires. Doesn't matter which way you wire it. It's just a set of contacts in the middle of the circuit.

1) "neutral" safety switch (prevents engine from turning over unless the clutch is held to the floor)
2) cruise cancel switch (cancels cruise control when you step on the clutch
3) Unknown (what would the third function be?)

2. CC cancel
3. PCM signal
