hey guys today is the day that i finally decided to do my bucket seat conversion. i got the idea from the tech library. i was wanting some aftermarket buckets but this didnt cost me a dime. it was pretty easy. cutting the middle seat supports was kinda a pain but oh well. it took a couple hours. i ended up using some black zip ties to keep the extra down. im pretty proud of myself!:icon_cheers: i decided to post up some interior pics too just because i never have. thanks for looking!

Looks good! had thought about that mod with the '87 but never got around to it.

i did this a while ago and put in a shorty console so much nicer than the old arm rest

i couldnt even keep the armrest dwn because the lid latch was broken so i just always kept it back

i had that problem i cut the springs so the lid would stay down but the plastic was broken so it was always poking me in the arm

its an easy mod, looks good. did the same to mine a while back.

i just wondering what how did you wire the switch to power ur amp?

i took a total of 6 cut to length wires, 3 for the left amp and 3 for the right amp. The 3 wires that went to the amp on the back right side of the cab were about 2 feet longer. on the back of the switch there were three outlet things so i paired up the wires like short and long, twisted and krimped them to one and pluged them in. them for each amp i plugged the appropriate pair in for power, remote, and ground

like your red bat also lol
so the switch just turns your subs on and off?

heres a pic of where the wires are twisted and krimped to the pack of the switch.

alright thanks man im just not sure how i can hook up sub and amp to my headunit if it dont have a amp out put but has the rca hook ups

your subs are only wired to the amp and the amp is wired to the battery and the headunit. on the back of my sterio i have R and L plugs. i used Y cables to combine the rca hookups that came from each amp. R with R and L with L

if you dont have the R and L hookup somewhere on the back of the headunit then im not too sure how to hook up a amp to it

It looks good, i plan on doin it to my 94 soon but the seat belt bolt has broke 3 of my torx bits so ive been soaking it in PB blaster and im gonna try again next week.
