Here's some pictures of my '03, I finally painted my front bumper and grille today. The grille is a temporary solution, I have an Edge/4x4 grille and hood at work, plus a new (to me) rear bumper. Sometime this winter all the dents will be repaired, mudflaps removed, and everything repainted (the entire truck is covered in scratches and dings) and will also receive a low profile hard tonneau cover (it's rubberized/black) Thankfully the truck is silver so you can't really see everything until you get closer :D Now that the grille is black you can really see how crooked it is, oh well, that will be remedied with time, lol. I also put in my new taillights last weekend, the old ones were filling with water and making everything corrode. I installed a new stereo yesterday but didn't bother taking pictures.

Good looking truck. Those are not stock headlights are they? They=badass. Very clean looking except that dent in the rear corner but hell its a 6 year old TRUCK. My summary is- Thats a beauty and you better take good care of her ya hear?

Thanks, it was a work truck, I've had it for a few months. I'm getting everything fixed at work (body shop) because I do custom paint/pinstriping and need to advertise - can't have auto body and custom paint advertised on a dented truck, lol! I want to do a tailgate mural or just some nice striping on the tailgate and letter the back window, can't really decide what to do though. I actually don't like custom paint or stripes on any of my own vehicles, but I've gotta do something! I've got a while to figure it out anyway.

Oh yeah, the headlights are aftermarket, stock ones were smashed. And it's a "boy," we call it James.

nice work!!! the grille looks 10x better!! i want to do that to mine, and paint it all silver with some subtle pinstripes, will look classy, not a big fan of extreme custom paint jobs either. add wider tires and call it done!!

Truck looks AWESOME!!

When I saw this shot, I couldn't help but think of Bob Rwenzing's truck...

In a few months it will look even more like it, minus the fender flares and newer running lamps, lol.

Also, if anyone wants to know, I used SEM Trim Black from Robbins Auto Parts, never tried it really but we use it at work. I want to see if it holds up better than Duplicolor's bumper coating (at twice the cost, it better!)

SEM is some high quality stuff! I just wished I used it on my exterior plastics before grabbing the can of Duplicolor Bedliner in a can! lol.

Let me know when you are finished because I'm gonna nominate you for TOTM and you are Gonna win

Ya, I used Duplicolor Bedlinder on the floor of the 'Chero and it's already all flaked off (few months old) The windshield needs replacing and the floor needs patching again anyhow so whatever, at least there's no carpet for the water to sit under anymore (actually it was a rubber insulated mat)

matt - Thanks!! It's gonna be awhile before it's done

i like the wheels, i cant say ive ever seen those style wheels mounted on a newer truck.

Thanks, they were a Craigslist purchase. The truck came with rusty 7 spoke steelies and I HATED them. We had two sets of '94 Explorer rims that I was going to use (deer hoof or 5 spoke style, wasn't sure which) but then I saw these on CL for 20 bucks. I've always liked this style but never see them. They were really corroded and the clearcoat was flaking off, so after two days of sanding I gave up and I had them sandblasted then painted them at work (we had extra Ford silver laying around the shop :D )
