Pics Of 2wd Ranger Lifts!

Hello All,

I just got my new leaf springs on today on My 85 Ford Ranger & the guy had to take one leaf out cause the new springs where to much & it made the rear too high & he didn't take out the body lift off the rear. So what can i do to the front to make the truck look the same height. The tires in the back look a little small now. I'll have pics of the truck this weekend for anyone to comment on what i should do to the front or to the rear again.

1 more week and I can add my truck to this thread!!!

Hello all,

Well I have made up my mind to raise the front end up or somehow lower the rear. Well I have decided to put two or three heavy sand bags in the bed of the ranger over the wheelwells so the weight of the sand bags would lower the backend for me & maybe I'll be happy. What do you all think. I'll post a few pictures of the truck in the street truck photo section.

cheap solution, but it will hurt your tires

The tires are 31x10.5s and tomorow il post a pic of the brush which is stronger then it looks

nice brushguard man! thanks for the picture, im gonna use it as a guide for installing mine, dont want it too high or too low

and jimmy. well u are adding weight. so its like driving it loaded all the time.
stopm on the gas and those bags will end up on your tailgate, probably bending it and damaging the latch.

Ok Ranger Sport Honduras thanks for your thought. What if I put blocks in the bed instead of bags of sand will that work better & what if I built a box around the blocks or sand bags so they won't move & i would put a lid over it so no one knows i have it in the bed & i could put things on top of the box to show off at car shows & at car cruises thats my thought if i did do blocks or sand bags in the bed. I just need to lower the bed about 2" or so.

yeah, hidding them and securing them would be better.
i think u can do a spring under axle conversion to lower it.

Thanks Ranger Sport Honduras. How much is a cost to do that & can i just do it with what i have or do i have to buy parts to put the spring under axle.
I thought my springs are under my axle maybe I don't know if they are.
