Pics Of 2wd Ranger Lifts!

no install pics, but it is taller than my dads:yahoo::icon_bounceblue:

:woot: awesome!!! mine has 2" block on the rear too, but the front is a bit more leveled than yours.
i would suggest some 30"s cuz the ones u havae look so small now lol

Looks great, Scott. If you post an attention whoring pic thread be sure to edit the above post with a link to that thread. ;)

:icon_cheers:

p.s. - the never ending cycle begins ..... time for 31s. :icon_rofl:

can i fit 31's? i measured the space from the center of the wheel to the top of the wheel well, its 19.5 inches

Watch and see how much the springs settle, though.

At 19.5" you're only 1/2" taller than my truck. Heck, we're right about the same height as a 4x4 now (not a 4x4 joke - I mention it because it was part of MY goal with the truck). I test fit a pair of 31s front and back on one side of the truck and yes, they fit. You can fit them, but there won't be a ton of space. On my '97 I could still turn without rubbing with the steering turned to the max in both directions, but that was on level ground, so I don't know what would happen with the suspension articulating. This may or may not be different with your truck having a SLA set up, as opposed to mine having beams.

If you don't feel comfortable then wait until you do a body lift. Do what I did and find someone with 31s and ask them real nice if you can do a test fit. I'm certain you can find someone local (or "local") that would be willing to help out.

Now we just need to convince you to get rid of those faggy anti-sway bars. :headbang:

Congrats again and ignore my last P.M. request now that you already told me. :icon_thumby:

thats why i went with the 30" ones, they look cool, fit and still have good room for flexing it without rubbing anything.
besides filling the whole wheel well with big tires wont look that good imo

That's a smart way to play it, imho. :icon_thumby:

Now as long as I forget that when i'm getting new rubber i'm okay. lol

I installed new leaf springs during the lift and I got a total of 4.5 inches of lift in the rear. The old leafs had seen better days...

I am happy with the BFG Long Trails, Got them for $120 each, plus a $70 dollar rebate.. Discount Tires Direct .com

Couple of questions for you, or anyone else for that matter regarding a body lift.. If they sound dumb you'll have to excuse me, trying to learn as I go.. :icon_welder:

What Kit?
Level of difficulty?
Have you noticed any negitave impact on your daily/off road driving?
Did you have to do any radiator modifications?
Is a gas filler neck nedded?
Did you need new brake lines from the frame to the master cylinder?
Driving conditions in the snow/ice better, worse or the same?
Did you have to purchase anything to level your vehicle out?

Thanks to anyone and everyone who can help this newb out lol

I would be intrested in seeing pics of a 4-6 inch lift with someone standing next to it...
