Pics Of 2wd Ranger Lifts!

He may want to copy RaceRanger97 but I want to copy that!!!!

Put a Skid Pan on the front and call it a day!!! That is cool, and I wish I knew that those ford center caps fit on those rims or i would have done that by now!
I like the cut down Mazda bumper!
If you could could you post a picture of the side of that level on the ground?

No kidding! Would love to see how mine would look with a 4 inch and 31s...:icon_hornsup:

My 00 with everything listed in my signature....still need tires and can easily fit 32's or possibly 33's

I was wondering where this thread went!

I don't want to seem anti-social, so .....

The before shot of my '97 ..... complete with saggy front coils and pooched shocks.

Then I installed the Skyjacker 2" lift kit (leveling coils and add-a-leafs), along with B.F.Goodrich All Terrain TA KO's (235/75R15).

Didn't like the tires or AAls, so those were replaced with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (stock 235/60R15) and a custom 1" block.

Currently looking into possibility of going with 31" tires, Chevy leaf spring swap and maybe a 2-3" body lift. Really don't know right now.

dude, the a/t's looked so nice on that...it filled the space in the wheel wells

I haven't seen any First gen 2x4s in here. Are they more difficult to lift or something? Mine's a 2x4, and I've always wanted to lift it enough to fit 31's at least. Is it even a possibility?

gen1 and gen 2 ranger have the same front suspension when it comes to 4X2 (cause i dont drive a piece of wood:icon_rofl:) hope that helps

What type of lift and how much of one would be best to fit 31's, do ya think? Looks like 2-4 inches are the most popular, but these 1st gens sit pretty low.

Yeah, they did, thanks. I just wish I could make up my friggin' mind as to having it lifted or lowered or what. I think I need hydraulics and I can lift it during winter and lower it during summer and just change wheels.

Uh oh, I wish I never just thought of that! :shok:

Right now i'm actually looking at putting it back to stock with shorter front bump stops. Of course i'm the only guy I know that would lower the truck right when we're about to start getting snow up here.

We'll see man. I think I finally have it figured out, really. I bought into the Ranger's versatility, and I praise it for such, and I think that'll mean lifting for the winter and lowering for the summer. Best of both worlds.

keep agressive winter tires, and buy some streets for the summer kthxbye

looks great man!!!! have u compared it with your dads?
any install pics?

Looks great, Scott. If you post an attention whoring pic thread be sure to edit the above post with a link to that thread. ;)

:icon_cheers:

p.s. - the never ending cycle begins ..... time for 31s. :icon_rofl:
