My first bronco ii....
Picked up a 85 4x4 v6 manual transfercase.
Kids wanted me to build a offroad crawler so I got this so we all can ride in it....build thread to follow once we start teardown.

Guy also had a mint 88 loaded xlt in the garage.
2.9v6, 5 speed, 4x4, manual transfercase.
With 72k original miles.
It came home with me also.

So now I have a 84 and 87 truck, 85 and 88 broncos.
I love these Gen 1s.

Gotta have some pics of them both lol. Good score for you.

Agreed.

And the first gen is my favorite too, not that I might be biased or anything. :icon_twisted:

Let's see if posting pics works...
Here is the 85...that will be the crawler

Darn clean rigs, all of them. :icon_thumby:

I'm envious of the lack of rust. And holy big pics, batman....

Very good score, clean rigs. I can't remember seeing a BII with those front seats before, red one. Mine came with buckets in the vinyl covering lol. Nice interior. But I'd lose the running boards first thing. Overall very good looking rigs. Love the 1st gen too.

The 88 is pretty clean. That would be my going to church truck

The '85 got a love tap in the front but it is really clean too.

Heck, I am impressed with the bed on the parts truck...

The "parts truck" is a 84. And I am not sure if I want to part it out. Is your truck a long bed, with duel tanks?
It is very solid and little rust. I think the topper has been on it since it was new because the inside of the bed is almost flawless .
The reason I parked it was the freeze plugs started leaking and needs replaced. I was thinking about pulling the 2.8 out and going through it and stick it in the b2. But I might just see if the 2.8 in the b2 is good for a rebuild and use it.
Or just go a v8 with a auto in the b2.
Since I am making a off road rig out of it I might just hammer the body back somewhat in place get a cheap grill and call it good.

I am currently trying to get the red and white 88 in tip top shape.
Have to put in a new clutch and give it a tune up. And new valve cover gaakets,Then decide if I keep it or sale it.
If it goes up for sale is so I can keep the wife happy ( she dont think i need 6 trucks) and to fund the off road project.

Both my 85 and 87 have those type of seats. They are super comfy compared to the other cars i have owned.

Nice score OP, can never have too many B2's :icon_thumby:
