Very smart, Jim. Choosing the right wheels and tires is maybe the most economical way to upgrade your truck.Ok everyone.
Post up picks of your stock or lowered 2wd's with non-stock tire sizes. Indicate the tire size, rim size, backspacing (if you know it), and how much drop you have if you're lowered.
Lets build a reference to help out others trying to figure out what size wheel/tire they can fit.

Changed rims this Xmas. 15x10 AR Torq-Thrust rims with 3.77" backspacing. Tire choice this time was 275/60/15 BFG T/A tire. I'm on stock suspension, no rub at any point so far. Love the ride, very smooth. I've always wanted a set of T/A tire, such a classic look and even did the white letter out. Damn what ever happen to cheap tires anymore, tires where more than the rims!!!! Still like the set, great 55th Bday present to myself.
Edit..Crazy how that pvc pipe mounted on the wall makes it look like I got a huge L" shaped scratch on my passenger truck bed. I saw that and had to go look....

That B2 is epic. I'd drive the pants off it.Didn't specify just rangers. Steelies 14x6 with 195-60-14 .The other wheels on same truck are 18s with a 18x9.5 with a plus 38 offset on the rear and 18x8.5" with a plus 20 offset on the front. Lowered 3.5"s in front djm beams. And flip kit in the rear with helper springs because rear sat lower then the front.2wd Bronco ii is sitting on powdered coated 99 mustang wheels 17x8 with a plus 30 offset with drilled out center caps in the front to clear the grease cap. 245-45-17s tires . Lowered 5"s in the front .And flip kit in the rear with C notch that lowered it about 6" in the rear.
