Penzoil Synchromesh ok for an FM145?

If so, who makes a good GL4 gear oil?

ive used synchromesh in transmissions that are spec'd to take atf (and with good results) but i would think its too think for an FM trans thats supposed to use gear oil. as for what gear oil to use? whatever's cheapest IMO

That's a typo, should say "thin"

Synchromesh is pretty similar to a 5-30 motor oil.

Not to my knowledge, pretty sure the Mitsubishi transmissions take gear oil, and the mazdas take ATF.
